About

A noticeboard for your neighbourhood

The Board is a simple, local noticeboard for communities across the UK. Each neighbourhood has its own board — a place for residents, traders, and community groups to share what's happening close to home.

There are no algorithms, no feeds, no social graphs. You post a notice, people see it. It disappears after 90 days unless you renew it. That's it.

What you can post

The Board is for things genuinely connected to a local area. Five categories cover most of it:

  • Events — concerts, markets, classes, pop-ups, community gatherings.
  • Services — local tradespeople, tutors, childcare providers, delivery services.
  • Announcements — local business news, planning notices, community updates.
  • Wanted — looking for a room, a tradesperson, a second-hand item.
  • Community — volunteering, lost pets, neighbourhood schemes, mutual aid.

How it works

You design your notice using our simple poster editor, add your contact details, and post it. No account needed — we send a magic link to your email so you can manage your notice later. You can renew, edit, or remove it at any time.

Notices are visible to everyone who visits the board for that area. They expire after 90 days; we'll remind you before that happens.

Moderation

Notices that break our terms of service can be reported and will be reviewed by a human moderator. We don't accept spam, commercial advertising unrelated to the local area, or anything unlawful.
